We Offer
Private Lessons
offer students the best value for their investment. The student
works one-on-one with an instructor, receiving personalized
instruction and immediate correction. Both beginning and advanced
students will find they progress faster and more easily as
they enjoy the partner dancing.
Group Classes
are both an introduction to the experience of dancing with
different partners and a chance for the students to become
familiar with step patterns. This format promotes comfort
in dancing with different partners, as well as the comraderie
that goes along with sharing a learned experience with others.
Dance Parties
are held twice a month, every second and fourth Friday of
the month. Those parties allow you an opportunity to enjoy
your newly acquired dance moves in a fun, exciting environment.
You can come alone or with a friend and enjoy the evening
together while meeting other dance enthusiasts. All instructors
will be available to dance with attendees.
Wedding Packages
are designed to help you feel comfortable, confident and most
importantly so that you enjoy dancing together as husband
and wife. Our qualified insructors will choreograph a special
dance using your chosen music. We will work with both of you
to improve your skills and showmanship for your special day
performance.Your session will be recorded for practice and
keepsake purposes.
In addition
to these main staples, Metropolitan Ballroom offer specialty
dancing to schools and other organizations wanting a specialized
program.
Space Rental
Metropolitan Ballroom is Charlotte’s newest ballroom
dance studio and entertainment center overlooking Providence
Road and perched in the center of Myers Park, Eastover and
Cotswold neighberhoods. Our second floor space located in
the urban Providence Plaza provides the perfect venue for
birthday parties, engagement parties, wedding and anniversary
receptions or team building events.
Metropolitan
Ballroom features:

perfectly central location in Charlotte’s finest neighborhood
- A 2600
sq ft beautiful ballroom surrounded by floor to ceiling
windows.
- State
of the art sound system.
- A second
small private studio 20ft x 20ft.
- A 1000sq
ft modern lounge featuring a beer, wine and beverage bar
serving
snacks and tapas. A large flat panel TV capable of showing
DVD’s or cable TV.
- Our
employee kitchen is perfect for catering operations.
- We
have a relationship with Something Classic Caterers or you
may provide your own licensed caterers.
- Our
staff of eight professional dance instructors specialize
in social, latin and smooth dancing. We can provide show
performances, exciting
group classes for a big group or a few couples.
